UP COMING EVENTS
DJ’s has its own exclusive range of fertilisers designed for local conditions. We have designed a range of organic and conventional products that we use and recommend for tough problems including low yields and a build up of high soil salinity.
DJ's are committed to sustainable agriculture, organic and minimum input farming.
We are excited to share our latest services in the fields of IPM, Precision agriculture & soil moisture monitoring.

Integrated Pest Management
Reducing agrochemical use: DJ's Growers are leaders in practising Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles in our agronomic advice through our partnerships with scientists who develop the techniques, and those who extend new technologies out on farm.
IPM KNOWLEDGE BASE
For technical support we partner with IPM Technologies to develop practical IPM strategies to manage pests in a wide range of crops including berries, vegetables, tree and vine crops, nurseries and pastures.
For developing application systems we work with Nathan Roy, the owner/director for Aerobugs, to spread beneficial insects from drones.
SUPPLYING BENEFICIAL PREDATORY INSECTS
We provide for our clients beneficial insects raised by Bugs for Bugs, the Queensland based leading suppliers of ‘good bugs’. Bugs for bugs offer a comprehensive range of biological control agents suitable for many crop and pest combinations.
Fertiliser efficiency and increasing farm efficiency: Using aerial imagery for practical benefits is key to improving farm performance.
We work with satellite imagery for a wide scale view of farms, vineyards and orchards.
We work with satellite imagery to produce normalised difference vegetation index (NDVI) maps — a method that identifies whether an area contains live green vegetation or not — that can provide an early warning of crop stress and crop health issues on farming properties.
Soil Moisture Monitoring
Water use efficiency for quality: Soil moisture sensors assist with irrigation decisions and responsible water use. DJ's Growers offer subscription-based soil moisture monitoring equipment installed in-situ with farmers throughout South Australia, providing up to date moisture information to their smart device or computer - accessible 24/7.
